Wildlife Sanctuary Walk and Talk
(9 yrs. and up), 3-5pm. Learn about our native bees and how to garden
to attract them; bee box kits will be available for purchase. Children

Dazzled By Dragonflies
(9 years and up), 3-4:30pm. You won't want to miss this illustrated presentation
about these fierce predators and daring aerial acrobats, conducted by
Park Manager and dragonfly expert Kevin Munroe. Children must be accompanied
by an adult. Reservations required. $6
Wednesday April

Swamp Serenade
(5 yrs. and up), 7:15-8:45pm. Listen to the frogs and toads as their courtship
songs fill the wetland. One flashlight per family is recommended. Cancelled

7-9:30pm. Welcome to Huntley Meadows' very own coffeehouse! Enjoy a relaxing
evening applauding our community's talents. Musicians, dancers and poets

12-4pm. Please join us and we'll send you home with shade-gardening tips,
rain garden plant lists, wildlife brochures and everything you've ever
wanted to know about attracting local native wildlife! Many items will
be available for purchase, including the best native plants, bee boxes,
bird houses, and wildflower seed mixes. FREE (small fee for some presentations)

Wetlands Awareness Day
Noon-3pm. Enjoy an afternoon of wetland interpretation, wildlife presentations
and a Fun Fair for kids. Bring your friends and family to celebrate the
importance of wetlands to wildlife and you. There is a modest fee for

or 4:15pm. Take a 90-minute tractor ride with a park naturalist to parts
of the Park that are difficult to reach on foot. Look for and learn about
songbirds, wildflowers, butterflies, and waterfowl, and stop for a snack
at the observation platform. Meets at the South King's Highway entrance
to the park. Reservations and prepayment required. $6
